State chief minister Neiphiu Rio is scheduled to meet his Assam counterpart Tarun Gogoi on August 2 at Assam House, New Delhi to discuss on border issues. Rio said that Gogoi had invited him to Delhi for a formal discussion pertaining to border affairs of both the states.
A Group of minister and senior officials will also attend the meeting, Rio said this in the floor of the house, Monday.
“I will definitely tell about our side of the story and share our Foot Hill road construction issue,” Rio said and further expressed hope that some hitch would be ironed out this time.
