Hundreds of students and teachers came forward and accepted Jesus Christ as their personal savior on the second day of ‘Student’s Spiritual Conference (SSC)’ organized by likeminded people from churches, schools and colleges  institutions, teachers, students’ leaders and believers Saturday at NBCC Convention Centre, Kohima.

Delivering the word of God, Pastor Ketou Theünuo said youth were being deceived by false promises, fear, hatred, world pleasures etc. which he said was the “gifts of satan”.

Stressing on the word satanism, Pastor said that the satanic worshippers would never deny the existence of God but they would also never believe in worshipping God adding that their main aim was to destroy the life of God’s children.

Terming, sex, money and power as the three most powerful things of satan worshipers, he also warned the students’ to be aware of music and games as some of the singers were satanic worshippers who he said have sold their soul to satan.

Stating that each individual was created “wonderfully” in God’s own image, Pastor Ketou called upon the students to firstly seek the kingdom of God to find hope, righteousness, peace and joy adding that God would make everything beautiful in His own time

Earlier, Mhonchumo S. Lotha led the worship service while Oriental college and Alder College presented choral presentations.
