Vocational training underway at DB tech

Inaugural programme of DB tech, 7th batch was held on July 26, at Don Bosco vocational training centre, 3rd Mile, Dimapur. vice-principal of Government College Dimapur, Louis Humtsoe was chief guest.

Emphasizing on the importance of equipping youths with technical skills, Humtsoe pointed that the training could solve unemployment problem, especially for rural BPL youth, school dropouts from the marginalized society.

He urged the trainees on to adapt good character, punctuality, and right attitude. He also felicitated DB tech centre team for their tireless effort in shaping and molding the youth.

Cultural items and songs were presented by the trainees of various domains. The concept of MoRD was presented by communicative English trainer Monica, and vote of thanks by ITeS trainer, Rebecca.

It may be mentioned that currently, the centre is providing free training on nursing assistant, cutting & tailoring (ISMO) and sales & marketing.

Altogether, 85 beneficiaries are undergoing the training. The training is funded by ministry of rural development, GoI.
