District Agriculture Officer (DAO) Tuensang L. Butang Thursday called upon the farmers to work hard and produce quality crops.
Speaking at the felicitation programme for the recipient of State Agriculture Best Award 2013, Mongsenlepla Chang of Tuensang village L/ Khel at Panchayat hall L/ Khel Tuensang village, Butang emphasized on the importance of farmers in the agricultural sector.
Butang called upon the people to cooperate with the department in order to bring a positive response.
Quoting the adage ‘work is a worship’ and ‘God helps those who help themselves’, he requested the farmers to work hard and produce quality result.
Further, he wished Mongsenlepla for hard working and brining a good name to the village. He lauded the village council for their initiative in promoting the farmers in their agricultural activities.
In his key note address, village council chairman B.I. Chaba said Mongsenlepla was a dedicated and hard.
