Theological colleges association support ACAUT initiatives

Nagaland Theological Colleges Association (NTCA) in a resolve extended heartfelt appreciation to Action Committee Against Unabated Taxation (ACAUT) for its endeavour to bring sanity in the way trade and businesses were conducted in Nagaland.

A press note issued by James Longkumer, NTCA, said this affirmation came from the NTCA executive body meeting held on August 9 in Dimapur to address pressing issues confronting the present Naga society.

It maintained that as a body composed of members from the theological community, NTCA was very concerned about the unlawful taxation and also the inappropriate ways business were done in Nagaland.

It lamented that such unlawful activities had hampered local entrepreneurs from doing legitimate business and at the same time led to unrestricted price rise for all kind of commodities.

It also joined the chorus with ACAUT in its unstinting effort to free our land from all forms of oppression, especially in the area of economic sovereignty, while espousing firm belief that the “day is not far away when our people will triumph over all evil forces that keeps us in bondage.”
