NCSU extends support to ACAUT

Nagaland contractors’ and suppliers union (NCSU) has extended its fullest support to Action Committee Against Unabated Taxation (ACUAT)’s demand for justice and transparency on various taxes by both state government, NGOs and factions.

The union cautioned that the suffering of the business community were running out of tolerance and appealed to Action Committee Against Unabated Taxation  not to give up till final settlement from various organizations “come to the table.”

Further, the union appealed to the state government and Action Committee Against Unabated Taxation  to “implement resolutions to all the districts of Nagaland, in order to promote all round development without any further disturbances and fear.” Meanwhile, the union expressed apprehensions that if present situation continued then the entire development work would be jeopardized.

In the press release, NCSU president Pele Khezhie and general secretary NCSU John Kath also sought the cooperation from all the organizations to give full support to these issues for amicable settlement at the earliest for the interest of Nagas in general.
