Medical employees asked to perform duty diligently

Medical staff was asked to perform their duty diligently and provide best services in their assigned health unit.

This view was expressed by officers who visited District Hospital Tuensang, Longkhim CHC, Kuthur PHC, Noklak CHC and Samator PHC on August 22 and 23 as part of yearly monitoring and supervision visit.

Officers from department of health and family welfare headed by commissioner and secretary H&FW Sentiyanger, additional director H&FW Dr.Taku Lamtor, and deputy director (NRHM) Dr. Kika Longkumar also expressed concern over irregularity and non-performances among some medical staff and called upon them to perform their duty diligently. 

The visiting officials inspected the development of the health centre and the activities carried out by the health workers in the district.

While interacting with the medical staff, commissioner and secretary urged  them to streamline the functioning in all the sector and to maintain communication interlink age among the staff.

He also asserted that MCH, ANC, immunization and MCTS should be strictly administered by the medical staff and added that improvement in service delivery and record keeping was expected.
