NSCN (I-M) United Sangtam Region (USR) has questioned the parliamentary secretary for economics & statistics, excise and LM & CP, T. Torechu’s silence on the August 24 incident and asked whether the USR authority had stopped him on the same day.
In a statement, NSCN (I-M) USR through MIP also questioned the Nagaland Legislative Assembly as to who issued the order to fire at the NSCN/GPRN regional authority when the regional authority was checking “anti-social elements” in the state and when there was cease-fire and observation of ground rules.
Torechu’s PA had on August 30 refuted all allegations and termed the same as “baseless and unfounded.”
