Operation of Air India Direct Flight AI-709/710, which was introduced on June 21 last for the sector Kolkata/Dimapur/Kolkata on Fridays and which was supposed to operate till August 30 has been extended till September 27with A-319 type of Aircraft.
According to AI sources, the flight would operate on Friday’s per the timing as follows – AI-709 (Kolkata-Dimapur) – departure Kolkata 1 p.m. arrival Dimapur 2.10 p.m.; AI-710 (Dimapur-Kolkata) – Departure Dimapur 2.45 p.m. arrival Kolkata 2.55 p.m. The flight would also give onward air connectivity to Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore and Chennai apart from other international sectors.
