Naga Women Hoho Dimapur (NWHD) has congratulated a number of people on their success in their respective fields. NWHD has also acknowledged NSCN (I-M)’s active support for the NBCC ban on liquor in Nagaland.
NWHD president Hukheli T Wotsa and general secretary Mrs Vimeno, through a release issued here Wednesday, congratulated Dr Kilumsangla on being appointed in the UPSC.
“Her profile will go down in the history as Naga women can achieve such a platform with due intellectual contribution,” said Hukheli and Vimeno.
NWHD also congratulated Tokheli Kikon of Naharbari on receiving Governor’s Award and praised her for encouraging women in general to learn to “live cohesively with leaders of our men folk”.
NWHD acknowledged NSCN (I-M) for actively supporting the NBCC ban on liquor in Nagaland, saying “such activity must continue without any prejudice and personal interest”.
Naga Women Hoho Dimapur also expressed happiness over the nomination of Abeni TCK as the chairman of Red Cross Society Nagaland.
“The strength of women being acknowledged in such a prestigious platform is a sign of fast reformation long awaited in Nagaland,” said Hukheli and Vimeno.
