In view of the ensuing Durga Puja festival, Dimapur Bangali Samaj distributed free clothes to more than 900 Bengalis belonging to “economically backward”, old people, women, children and widow from various colonies like Y Zhimo colony, Master colony, D colony, Metha colony, Babulal Kachari colony, Netaji colony, West Yard colony, Chatteswary colony, K Kire colony, Nagagaon and many other on October 6 at Shree Ram Thakur Sevashram, Railway Netaji Colony Dimapur.
To mark the event president of Dimapur Kalibari Welfare Committee, advocate Swapan Paul attended the ocassion as the chief guest and vice president of Dimapur Kalibari committee Vijoy bhattacharjee as guest of honour.
The meeting was presided by president of Dimapur Bangali Samaj K.K.Paul and was attended by executive members of the society. On this event president conveyed his message for continuance of this kind of service to the society.
