GBUC on sale, purchase of land

GBs Union Chumukedima (GBUC) Monday informed that individuals/parties dealing with sales and purchase of land or mortgaging plot/land for availing loan without the knowledge of concerned ward GB would not be “entertained” and warned that those doing so, would be doing it  at their own risk.

In a statement, head GB Chumukedima Town Kelenguzo Kuotsu also said that any case of “theft, rape etc”, would be settled at GBs court, Chumukedima and warned that approaching “faction courts” bypassing GBs court would be treated as “unconstitutional”.

GBUC also said that after an inspection, it was found out that vendors were encroaching on NH-29 demarcated boundary line adding that there were minor constructions taking place inside the boundary line.

In the interest of the public, the encroachers have been requested not to construct structures inside land demarcated for approach roads/alleys in respective wards and warned that violators would face action deem fit.
