Leaders of the state was asked to connect themselves to the grassroot level so as to progress in their work by coordinator, indigenous prayer network Australia and Ambassador at Large Overseas Naga Association (LONA) Apostle Reverend Luoliehu Yimsong while speaking as the resource person during the leadership (biblical style) seminar for NPWD officials, Wednesday at Engineer-in-chief conference hall.
Asserting that the leaders should focus on “Jesus qualities” to be leaders, he said that Jesus was the “greatest leaders” and that one has to emulate his ways. Reverend Luoliehu reminded the officers that the true wisdom and inspiration comes from Christ and one should rely on it.
He encouraged the leaders to be bold, courageous, hard working, focus and farsighted adding that good character, right relationship, knowledge, experience, ability to lead, right attitude, self manageable and ability to utilize time wisely as some key factors to be a good leader.
Apostle Reverend Luoliehu then challenged the gathering to given their best and become a good leader in their respective posts and not just fill their post and retire.
Earlier, joint secretary works and housing Rovilatuo Mor in his introduction speech said this programme was organized for the officials so they could enhance delivery service, to facilitate better and quality service to the people.
The participants also interacted with the resource person. All the additional CEs, S.Es, EEs, SDOs of NPWD attended the programme.
