Yes Bank partners govt to promote IHAF

Yes Bank, India’s fourth largest private sector bank, is partnering with the Nagaland government to promote the Hornbill Art Festival to be held in Kohima.

Speaking on the initiative, Rana Kapoor, MD and CEO, Yes Bank, said “We are proud to partner with the Government of Nagaland for the International Hornbill Festival as the festival offers an excellent platform to showcase the Naga art and culture to the world.

Since inception, Yes Bank has supported such community initiatives through its ‘Yes Community platform’, and constantly involving in a host of CSR activities spanning across Education, Women Empowerment, Health & Wellness and Senior Citizen welfare & literacy programmes.”

Abu Metha said “The Government of Nagaland is happy and appreciates the fact that Yes Bank is partnering with us for the Hornbill Art Festival. We hope to have a fruitful partnership and hope that they will support a long way in making the festival a bigger success’’. 

The ambitious project is an initiative by the Government of Nagaland in collaboration with Rattle & Hum Society and XL Nagaland under the theme “Colours of Nagaland.”

This Hornbill Festival aims to get contemporary artists from not just the North East, but across India and the world, to address the current environmental as well as socio-political issues and create awareness through the medium of art.
