Mini Office LIC, government of India Undertaking was inaugurated on December 6 at a simple function held at Wokha Townnear Police Point by A.K.Basumatari, marketing manager, LIC, Jorhat division.
The function was chaired by Mehilo Kath, deputy manager, LIC, Jorhat division and attended by a host of LIC officials from Kohima branch viz J.P Chaubey assitant branch manager, Abraham Tungoe, development officer, LIC agents and policy holders from Wokha district.
Basumatari who as the chief guest urged the policy holders from Wokha district to avail this facilities provided by the company and also to give their cooperation towards the up-liftment of this mini office. The renewal premium, status of policy, policy lapsed revival and policy loan quotations etc. will be done from the mini office, he informed.
Basumatari also challenged the people of the district to equip with the knowledge of life insurance and to become a member as the will benefit oneself and will give security to their families. He also declared the mini office will be headed by Abemo Murry, a member of Zonal Manager Club and will be under the supervision from Kohima branch.
