56th annual conference of the Nrung Longidang Village Students Union (NLVSU) was held from December 27-29 at village community hall on the theme “quest for intellectual vision under God’s guidance” with S Richard Humtsoe, member vigilance and monitoring committee, ministry of rural development government of India, Krishi Bhawan New Delhi as chief guest and Rev E Nrio Ezung as secretary KBES, Vankhosung Wokha as theme speaker. The chief guest assured to award HSLC first class of Rs 10000, HSLC & HSSLC topper Rs 20000 and NPSC Rs 30000 from 2014 onwards. Meanwhile, NLVSU has elected Wonchibeni Ezung and Zanbothung Murry as president and general secretary for the tenure 2014-16.
