Office of the director general of police, Nagaland has informed that six Nagaland Police Service (NPS) officers have been appointed and inducted into Indian Police Service (IPS) with effect from December 26, 2013. In a press release, Inspector General of Police (Hqr) and PRO stated that the six officers allotted Nagaland cadre vide ministry of home affairs letter No.I-14011/11/2013-IPS.I (II) dated December 26, 2013. The officers include K.Martin Pienyü, Richard Yimto, Zekotso Mero, Ngangshimakok Sangtam and K Kivigho Chishi.
