
Two-day National Assembly of the GPRN/NSCN began Thursday at its designated camp, Khehoi.
In a press release, MIP, GPRN/NSCN stated that inaugural session began at 10 a.m. with the pastor of council headquarters, Rev. Zutovi leading the invocation prayer. The obituary references were read out by Keeya (defence) affairs ministry secretary Inaka Tsuqu followed by the presidential address by GPRN/NSCN president “Gen.(Retd)” Khole Konyak.
After the speaker’s remark, the GPRN/NSCN Ato Kilonser N. Kitovi inaugurated the national website www.thenagahills.com and the house adjourned.
In the second session, the house held a reaffirmation of the collective leadership, amendment of the constitution and discussed on the “government agendas”. The assembly will continue till January 31, 2014, stated MIP.
