BSU, NSDF condemns Feb 2 assault

Newly formed Nagaland State Disability Forum (NSDF) has condemned the life attempt on one of its members Ruokuolhoulie Zumu of Tuophema village on February 1. In a press release, the forum stated persons with disability need understanding, concern and human treatment.
 “There are no words can describe an attempt on one who is already burdened, with a disability,” the release stated, adding that only a wicked and evil person can go to such an extent. The Forum members appealed to authorities to take stringent action on the perpetrator.
BSU: Botsa Students’ Union (BSU) has strongly condemned the “murder attempt” on the president All Nagaland Disabled People Organization (ANDPO) Ruokuolhoulie Zumu on February 2.
In a press release, BSU general secretary Medokhrielie Zumu and statistical and information secretary Adzuzie Kense said the incident was a serious social predicament that needed to be confronted by all the responsible authority.
Expressing its anguish, BSU also expressed hope that the conflict would be addressed soon be the concerned authority.
