Public Forum Shamator Town ( PFST) has expressed its gratitude to NSCN (K) for their positive response in connection with the firing incident at Shamator town NAP out sector on December 15.
The Public Forum Shamator Town demanded immediate investigation into the matter and to book the culprit.
Responding to their demand, the culprit ‘sergeant major’ Shihtoba the then guard commander of the region was discharged from the national service on Janaury 22. The forum has expressed its gratitude to the authority who left no stone unturned to maintain “peace and harmony” in the area and further looked forward their unflinching support and cooperation even in the days to come. In this connection, an emergency meeting with the NSCN/ GPRN (K) Regional authority was also held on January 20.
