Apropos the Kohima police report regarding arrest of two women with 100 Kgs of Ganja, published in local dailies February 21, the Razeba Students’ Union (RSU) and Razeba Women Society (RWS) have clarified that there was no such name as Ale, wife of late Nasu of Razeba village, who was allegedly involved in the case.
In a joint press release, Razeba Students’ Union president Dapulu Lea and Razeba Women Society Kohima chairperson Neshü Shupao condemned the “false citizen” for damaging the good image of Razeba village. They also urged the responsible authority to thoroughly verify the person’s citizenship and punish her as deem fit.
RSU and RWS demanded the woman to tender “unconditional apology” to two organizations at the earliest failing which they would initiate stern action against her.
