Industrial village Razhuphe council after an emergency meeting on February 27 at its chairman’s residence deliberated on National Food Security Act (NFSA) and to ascertain the priority household to be identified for the new ration card under NFSA. After much deliberation the council has directed all the GBs, VCMs and mother unit to inform the households who are permanent resident of the village to bring two numbers of photos for each family member and to fill up the format provided by the government. The council has informed that the name of the mother shall be enrolled as the head of the family in the ration card. All villagers within Industrial village Razhuphe has been requested to submit the said document to the village council within three days from the date of the publication of the notice, failing which no complaints would be entertained. For further information the villagers have been requested to contact the council chairman and the secretary. Further, the council has informed that an advocacy campaign on HIV/AIDS organized by the legislature forum on AIDS (LFA-Nagaland) would be held on March 6, 10 a.m. at Industrial village council hall. All GBs, VCMs, VDB members, mother unit, vigilance committee, youths and villagers have been invited to attend the same.
