Spring Fest: Road show displays diverse culture

In bid to reach out to the masses. North East Zone Cultural Centre (NEZCC) organized a grand road show March 6 giving an exposition of glimpses of diverse cultural traditions of the country.
The Road show passed through the streets of Dimapur and performed at Purana Bazaar, Clock Tower, DC Court Junction, Super Market and Chumukedima.
According to a press release, the basic objective of the road show was to create awareness about culture and at the same time giving them an opportunity to witness the rich culture of the country.
The cultural troupes from Odisha, Kerala, Karnataka, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh and child artistes from the north eastern states participated in the Road show.
The Spring Festival would feature a Choreographed Folk Dance Show March 8 at NEZCC Campus with artistes drawn from different parts of the country. 
The daytime competitive activities such as traditional go-karting, traditional stilt walking, tug of war, greased pole climbing, Mizo children games, rope swingers of Nagaland and Rajasthan would be added attraction of March 8 and 9 from 11 a.m. onwards. Everyone has been invited to witness the programme.
