Fun-filled activities at UCTE food festival

As part of the academic activities for the year 2014, the Unity College of Teacher Education (UCTE), B.Ed trainees, conducted food festival at the college premises March 13.
The food fest witnessed enthusiastic trainees lined up in seven stalls with lavish mouth-watering cuisines – consisting of authentic Naga cuisines, different Indian cuisines, Chinese cuisines and creative desserts – prepared by the trainees.
Six members from the college teaching faculty and non teaching staff were invited to judge the food items, based on creativity, taste and presentation.
For the competition, 100 enrolled trainees were divided into seven groups, out of which group- 7 was declared the winner of the vegetarian category, group-1 was declared winner of the non-vegetarian category and group 6 was declared as the winner of the dessert category.
