A team of officials from directorate Health & Family Welfare (H&FW) Kohima monitored various health units of Pfutsero, Meluri, Phek and Chozuba blocks from March 13-15. During the monitoring and supervision of the health units, handholding supports on various issues were also discussed with the health staffs. The team checked the general condition of the health units, maintenance of records/ registers, service availability, equipments etc.
The team comprising of additional director Dr.N.M Kithan, joint director & SPO (RCH) Dr. Johnsweyievisa, joint director & state T.B officer Dr. K.T Lotha, TBHIV coordinator Dr.Poktikokla and RCH coordinator Thejotalu were accompanied by deputy chief medical officer Phek, Dr.Ritu Thurr, DTO Phek and Phek health staffs during the monitoring of the health units. The team also met deputy commissioner (DC) Phek, C.M. Tsanglo, chairman district health society Phek and apprised him of health scenario of the district.
