Tenyimi Women Organisation (TWO) Kohima Nagaland has expressed anguished to learn that havildar Takukaba, DEF Mokokchung has confined and raped the employee of his shop on March 5 at Hotel Longkumer Semtu.
TWO also alleged the hotel manager of locking the room (where the victim was locked in and raped) from outside at the request of the Takukaba and denied their presence to rescue team of the victim’s family, neighbours and police came searching in the night.
TWO appreciated the law enforcement agency for the prompt action taken against the culprit and investigating the case. However, the organization has also demanded the authority to deliver immediate punishment as per the section of the law at the earliest and urged the authority not to bail the culprit under any circumstances.
