Hijacked medicine-laden pick-up truck recovered

A pickup truck loaded with medicine consignment meant for Kohima and Phek districts which was hijacked by miscreants in the wee hours of March 19 at Murgi Patti, Dimapur was recovered from Model Village, 5th Mile, Dimapur.
Talking to Nagaland Post, crime branch (CID) Dimapur in-charge, Bendang Jamir the pickup truck (Tata Mobile-NL07-A 5670) loaded with medicines was “forcefully taken away” by unidentified miscreants even after “196 receipts” were produced by the distributors. When contacted president, Nagaland Medicine Dealers’ Association (NMDA), Ato Yepthomi has also confirmed that the medicines were being transported with “valid documents.”
