‘Eco Club’ obserevs World Forestry Day in Kiphire

Along with the rest of the world, the ‘Eco Club’ of Agape School, Kiphire, in collaboration with Wild life Division, Kiphire, organized ‘World Forestry Day’ by conducting quiz, environment talks and screening documentaries on environment with Hemant Bhaskar Kamdi as special guest.
Speaking on the occasion, Kamdi stressed on the importance of environment and asked the students to preserve environment. He also advised the students to plant trees and to take care of them so environment would be healthier, cleaner and better for all to live. The special guest assured to provide tree saplings so the students could plant trees on World Environment Day. Further, advising the students, the special guest said: “each student is talented and intelligent and to make it fruitful, one should be sincere, discipline and hardworking.” 
In his key note address, school principal P.Achumse said appreciated the presence of wild life warden and thanked him for interacting with the students.
