Following the end of last date for withdrawal of candidature March 26, Nagaland is all set to witness a triangular contest among Naga People’s Front, Indian National Congress and Socialist Party (India) for the lone Lok Sabha seat April 9. RO Temjen Toy announced the list of contesting candidates for election to Lok Sabha from Nagaland Parliamentary Constituency Wednesday. In a notification to be published in an Extraordinary Issue of the Gazette of India Part II, Section 3 (ii), the contesting candidates are: Neiphiu Rio (NPF), K.V.Pusa (INC) and Akhei Achumi Socialist Party (India).
