Government’s failure to meet the demands of Khelhoshe Polytechnic Atoizu student Union (KPASU) has forced the students to continue with their agitation.
In a press release, KPASU general secretary Khekiye Aye said government has taken no initiative to arrange lecturers for conducting classes, rather giving excuses of the upcoming Lok Sabha election. This, KPASU said clearly displayed government’s lack of concern towards the student welfare. KPASU stated that the post was lying vacant since November 2013 and reminders submitted to the appointing authority through the Principal, Khelhoshe Polytechnic Atoizu. The union asserted it would not entertain lame excuses and would continue to protest by boycotting classes and all other academic activities till demands fulfilled.
