Jared Leto’s time in Australia may be coming to an end, but the Oscar-winning actor will leave the country with a swag of new friends.The 42-year-old posted a snap of himself posing with three Aussie fans, which resembles the famous Oscars selfie he featured in. Unlike the selfie taken by Bradley Cooper at the Academy Awards, which featured only a corner of Jared’s face, this more recent photo features Leto front and centre. That’s what happens when you get to take the photo yourself. The actor has been in Australia with his band 30 Seconds To Mars. After performances around the country they will finish the Australian leg of their LOVE, LUST, FAITH & DREAMS tour with a show in Brisbane on Sunday night.

It seemed as though Jared arrived in Australia ready to connect with his Aussie fans. He caused a stir when he told the Kyle and Jackie O show on Friday that he was single and ‘available for all kinds of things’ When quizzed about his preferences he added: ‘I like it all, man, you know isn’t that the problem? I just like it all. I appreciate women, and all of their infinite fascinating features.’ The interview concluded with Kyle encouraging women to extend what he calls the ‘warm Aussie welcome’ to the actor if they saw him out and about. Kyle, who appears to be a charm-free zone – and has a reputation for going too far during interviews – explained to Leto what this welcome would look like.

‘Well the legs just slowly open – it’s like waving but with legs. You’ll know it when you see it mate.’

The racy comments kept coming from Leto, who flirted up a storm with not one, but two 2DayFM radio hosts on Friday.

Sophie Monk, 34, openly flirted with the handsome long-haired singer, just hours before it was exclusively reported by the MailOnline that she was in a relationship with her 2DayFM Breakfast digital producer Oscar Gordon, 29.

Sophie told Jared: ‘I was thinking about maybe you being my boyfriend, and then I thought about it and I thought… you can… like God just went you can act, you can sing, you can dress well, you’re super hot. You just got blessed… like… and I only date guys that are not as attractive as me,’ Sophie said to Jared.

The actor then asked Sophie if she’d been out all last night, or if her trademark husky voice was actually hers.

Sophie confirmed that it was in fact her normal voice, with Leto telling her he liked it and that it was ‘hot’.

The lead singer then invited the team to come to his concert, to which Merrick joked: ‘I’ll be the fat guy that carries Sophie on my shoulders so you can see her!’

Sophie argued and made it clear she had other intentions, ‘No Merrick! I’ve already chosen my role. I’m going to make out with him!’

Leto assured her she’d be well looked after, and promised: ‘If you do come to the show, we will spoil you rotten.’

Their flirtation was short-lived, however, and Jared turned his attention to the afternoon host Maz Compton just a few hours later.
