PPUK clarifies

Apropos the news report “Minor girl raped by father’s friend”, Poumai Public Union Kohima (PPUK) clarified its statement that the accused was not a resident of New Minister Hill and that the incident occurred near south police station, New Minister Hill. PPUK said that the accused with no proper residential address provided wrong information during interrogation. The error is highly regretted, PPUK stated.
