Organizations condemn April 13 rape incident

NWHD:  Naga Women Hoho Dimapur (NWHD) has strongly condemned the April 13 alleged rape incident on minor girl at Kohima. In a condemnation note, NWHD president Hukheli.T.Wotsa and general secretary, Vimenuo Liegise demanded that accused should not be granted bail in any circumstances. It further appealed all citizens to support in order to eliminate such barbaric act from the society.
PHD, PSUD and PNMD condemn: Poumai Hoho Diampur (PHD), Poumai Student Union Diampur (PSUD) and Poumai Naotoumai Me Dimapur (PNMD) has also condemned the April 13 alleged rape incident of minor girl Kohima by Povetso Nakro son of late Zavesayi Nakro of Pholami village under Phek district.
In a joint press release, PHD, PSUD and PNMD have urged all right thinking citizen to condemn such barbaric and inhuman act. The unions have also appealed to the authorities to award befitting punish to the culprit as per the law. It further expressed solidarity to the traumatized victim and the family. 
CSU: Condemning the alleged rape incident on minor by Povetso of Pholami village in Kohima, Chakhesang Students’ Union (CSU) has urged the citizens to fight against such brutal and insane act. CSU further appealed to the law enforcing authority to award befitting punishment to the culprit as per law of the land.
