AR nabs 2 with arms & ammo

Personnel of 29 Assam Rifle during a search operation apprehended one person and recovered illegal/unauthorized ammunition including one magazine 7.65 pistol, 43 live rounds of 22 calibre, one live round of 45 calibre and 2 detonators. The apprehended person, identified as Thungchanbemo Lotha Wokha district at Duncan bosti Dimapur, was handed over to west police station Dimapur along with recovered items.
In a separate incident, 29 AR troops apprehended one Robert Swu (30), a resident of Dimapur, following the launched of operation at Singrijan and found one .22 calibre pistol with magazine and live round of .22 calibre. The apprehend person along with seized items was handed over to Diphupar police station.
