ASTUV condemns molestation attempt on Naga woman

Ao Union or Ao Senso Telongjem of Unity Village (ASTUV), 5th mile (NH-29) Dimapur has vehemently condemned the attempt to outrage the modesty of a Naga woman by one Nazmul Haque,  son of Abdul Haque, an “illegal Bangladeshi  immigrant” on the wee hours of April 25.
In a press release, Ao Senso Telongjem president L. Rongsen Jamir and general secretary S. Temjen Kichu termed the attempt as “filthy act” which has to be condemned by all citizens.
The union has extended its deepest sympathy to the victim.
Ao Senso Telongjem also strongly appealed to the authorities to award severe punishment to Nazmul Haque, the culprit in the incident as per law of the land.
