Dimapur Municipal Council (DMC) has informed that in view of conducting checking of DMC Trade Licence and streamlining of fees in all 23 Wards the following officials have been detailed to conduct checking w.e.f. April 28. In a press release, DMC administrator K Tarep Imchen stated that the detailed officials could impose penalty of Rs.500 against defaulters who do not possessed trade licence. Further, the checking of officials have also be authorized to renew the licence on the spot with late fine @ 10% on trade licence fees. The checking party would submit report every week to the DMC administrator without fail.
