Committees constituted for railway line project

Government of Nagaland has constituted committees for the purpose of proper and effective monitoring and close coordination between the state departments and Northeast Frontier Railway for execution of the Dhansiri (Assam) to Zubza – Thizama (Nagaland) new railway line project.
According to a DIPR report, the state level committee would be head by the chief secretary as chairman. Its members include DGP; home commissioner; principal secretary & commissioner; principal secretary (Power); principal secretary (works & housing); secretary (PHE); secretary (land revenue); representative of the general manager. The co-opted members include construction, N.F.Railway, Maligaon, Guwahati; representative of the chief general manager; Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited, NE-II Circle, Dimapur; commissioner & secretary (Transport) as member secretary.
The committee would meet once in three months and take report from the departmental committee pertaining to progress of works. The other committees include: departmental committee head by principal secretary & commissioner as chairman and district committee including DC and SP Dimapur as chairmen.
