Agricultural Technology Management Agency (ATMA) Tsenminyu block conducted training and demonstration on silkworm rearing on May 16 at Seri farm school, Tsenminyu village. Delivering a keynote address, SDAO and BTT convener Tsenminyu Viwheto Thorie highlighted the economic importance of rearing silkworm, encouraging the farmers to take up such activities in the localities.
Meanwhile, in the technical session seri- supervisor A Atenjemba Imchen spoke and demonstrated on different new techniques, procedure and the benefits of rearing silkworm. Altogether 17 farmers attended the programme.
