According to a DIPR report, parliamentary secretary Dr. Kire, in his address, said a home was built with hearts, therefore urged the employees to develop a working atmosphere and be sincere leaving no space for the people to complain.  He admitted pressurizing the director and senior officers to inaugurate the complex at the earliest because the old building, which also has the classes for the Industrial Training Institute (ITI) trainees, was on the verge of collapse.
Dr. Kire suggested the different ITIs in Nagaland not only to seek tours to metropolitan cities alone but also make tours to other ITIs within the state in order to develop a competitive spirit.
Dr.Kire urged the young people to move out, work and find jobs themselves and understand the hardship involved.
CAWD Nagaland executive engineer Er. Sungtiba Amer, in his brief report on the construction of the office complex, said construction commenced in May 2007 and was completed in December 2013.  He mentioned that there was delay due to the re-designing of the entire super structures of the building, as it was detected late that some areas fell under very loose alluvial soil.
EE added that the original estimate of the building was Rs. 614.48 lakh and the revised estimate was Rs. 880.54 lakh and the contractual work was done by M/S Klas Enterprises.
Labour & employment secretary Wepretso Mero chaired the programme. E&CT director Muthingnyuba Sangtam proposed the vote of thanks, former director, K. Suohu also spoke on the occasion and the ITI trainees presented a special number.
