Harry Styles tells 1D fan and bride-to-be ‘you don’t have to go through with wedding’ in fun clip

Harry Styles made one bride’s wedding day even more special when he asked her a question that the majority of One Direction fans can only dream of.

The heartthrob made a surprise video for Tash Gershfield, pleading with her to leave her husband-to-be James, in a short clip shown to her on her big day. The 20-year-old is heard saying: ‘Tash, you don’t have go through with this. It’s not too late’, while smirking at the camera.

Before adding: ‘I’ll be waiting at Orli’s in Borehamwood for the next three hours. If you don’t come I’ll understand… but that’s where I’ll be.’ 

However, despite the undoubtedly difficult decision, the superfan went through with her original plans before posting the cheeky video on Instagram.

She commented: ‘A video from the one and only harry which was played at my wedding!!!!!!! #harrystyles #onedirection #wedding #1D #personalvideo #love’.

Her new husband echoed her gratitude on Instagram: ‘Thanks @harrystyles for doing this for my wedding. Thankfully @tashgershfieldx stayed to marry me’.  

The funny video was posted online on Tuesday just a few days after the nuptials, and has already amassed over 14,000 views.

In it the Midnight Memories crooner struggles to keep a straight face while wearing a wide-brimmed brown hat and dark jumper.

It is also thought Tash was given a signed guitar from the boyband after she shared a snap of the gift on her page. 

The news comes just days after One Direction made the dreams of 60 lucky fans come true as ambassadors for the Rays Of Sunshine charity.

The organisation granted the wishes of seriously ill children, with the stars  – Zayn Malik, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne and Harry – meeting the youngsters prior to performing at Wembley stadium on Sunday.
