NSCN (K) Yimchungru region has deliberated on the issue of taxation under Yimchungrü jurisdiction and stated that not to entertain any kind of taxation without the knowledge of Yimchungrü region. According to N.T. Yamthong Yim, NSCN (K) chairman Yimchungru region any kind of taxation under Pungro and Shamator division of Yimchungrü is authorized only to the Yimchungrü region authority and not to other region.
The NSCN (K) Yimchungru region further cautioned to adhere its directive in the larger interest of the general public and to create a congenial peaceful atmosphere in the region.
