‘Balanced fertilizer management IPM and INM training’ held

Department of agriculture along with Agricultural Technology Management Agency(ATMA), Mangkolemba conducted training cum demonstration on balanced fertilizer management, Integrated Pest Management (IPM), Integrated Nutrient Management (INM) and field day on IPM on June 9 at Longjemdang.
During the training, resource person, AO, Sunep Walling spoke on the balanced fertilizer integrated management and AFA Apong spoke on the importance and its impacts of Biofertilizer.
Resource person AFA, Mangkolemba Talisunep also spoke on the scope, its importance and techniques of IPM and AFA, Moameren stressed on the IPM tools in paddy crop while AFA, Chubameren spoke on Integrated Nutrient Management (INM). Short speech on ATMA was delivered by BTM, ATMA, Mangkolemba. Later, free IPM kits were distributed to the participants.
