National trade expo underway in Wokha

A first of its kind National Trade Expo (NTE), organized Wokha Circle Students’ Union (WCSU), got underway at government higher secondary school (GHSS) ground Wokha July 3.
The expo, which would conclude July 15, was graced by ADC, SSA (DMA) Wokha, Zubenthung Humtsoe as chief guest. Speaking at the function, he lauded the union for organizing the mega event in the district and reminded them to focus more on student welfare.
Wokha Town Baptist Church (WTBC) associate pastor Rev. Abemo Jungio said the invocation, WCSU president Chanbemo Humtsoe gave welcome address and a brief note about the Expo by the convenor Khuketo Y. Yepthomi.
Earlier, the programme was chaired by WCSU debating secretary Achumi Yanthan. Other dignitaries present at the opening include Major. Jeevan H, 17th Assam Rifles, Wokha, media and GHSS student, Wokha.
