Longleng District Planning & Development Board (DPDB) meeting was held on July 7 in the DC’s conference hall, Longleng, which was was presided by Deputy Commissioner and vice chairman DPDB Longleng. Reviewing the last meeting minutes, the DC Longleng informed the Board members on land acquisition for 123-33 KV Sub-station at Pongo village as discussed in the last meeting. The board also discussed on NAP Post camp at Naga junction Hukphang village, and opening of Fire department in Tamlu ADC HQ. The Rural Development Department agreed to part their office for opening of SBI branch at Sakshi village. Other agendas such as drainage system in the district HQ and posting of Science and Maths teachers at Sakshi High School were also discussed.
