Sonata music institute (SMI), Diphupar- B under the aegis of Glocal Vision North East Foundation (GVNEF) organized a free music seminar on July 14-18 which was attended by youth from various churches.
During the inaugural programme of the seminar, the gathering was enthralled with a keyboard piece by one of the students of SMI and a guitar classical piece by one of the tutors of SMI.
In her welcome address, administrator of the institute Myingthunglo Ngullie highlighted the humanitarian objectives of SMI and GVNEF whose motto she said was “serving humanity”.
Meanwhile, music tutor of the institute Myano Odyou and Chumbemo Odyou gave theory classes and introductory lessons on keyboard and guitar while certificate was awarded to all the delegates for successfully attending the seminar.
