Nagaland Tribes Council (NTC) has raised few questions on the recent attempts of the government of India to impose Hindi language on non-Hindi speaking communities in the country including the order to observe “Sanskrit Week” on schools affiliated to CBSE.
Stating this was an attempt on imposition of Hindi on every student under CBSE, NTC media cell said the action would tantamount to undermine the minorities and non-Hindi speaking sections.
NTC hoped the Central government would not revive the philosophy of yesteryears’ untouchability taking undue advantage of the massive mandate received from the people but rather instil sense of security to all minorities in the country by accepting each other as inalienable part of the great Republic of India.
