CCSU, CGOA flay alleged abduction of SMO

Confederation of Chang Students’ Union (CCSU) has strongly condemned the recent alleged case of abduction of SMO Noklak, Dr. Sungmo Chang from her official posting place Noklak July 17 last by FGN, Longdon sub-Region Khiamniungan region.
Describing the incident as “rarest of the rare” and “most shocking crime” against the woman in the Naga society, CCSU president Imti Choba, education and statistics secretary Nayang and speaker C.Nokching Somba stated that they were shocked to learn that Dr. Sungmo was “abducted “from Noklak town and subjected to verbal abuse, physical emotional, mental harassment and illegal detention for five hours till late night with the sole motive of extortion by one “Razou Peyu”  Puchiao and his comrades of FGN Longdon sub-region Khiamniungan region.
In connection with this, CCSU questioned wisdom of the “national workers”, saying such act was totally unjustified and unacceptable.
In the light of the above, Confederation of Chang Students’ Union (CCSU)  has therefore asked all the right thinking citizens and societies to condemn and raise their voices against such act.
The union also asked the responsible authority of FGN to take stern action against those involved so such incidents did not repeat in the future.
CGOA: Chang Gazetted officers Association (CGOA) has expressed its extreme resentment over the alleged abduction of its member Dr. Sungmo Chang SMO Noklak by FGN, Longdon sub-Region Khiamniungan Region led by P. Puchaio  Raja Peyu.
In a press release, Chang Gazetted officers Association (CGOA) general secretary A.Chubasangla Chang said posting of any government officer was for the welfare of that particular place. Therefore, it stated that any public or organization had to work in close coordination with the responsible officer for the general welfare.
With regard to this, Chang Gazetted officers Association has strongly condemned the act meted out against its member.
