SKK jubilee memorial hall foundation laid

Parliamentary secretary for irrigation and flood control and election Y. Vikheho Swu laid the foundation stone of Sumi Kiphimi Kuqhakulu (SKK) platinum Jubilee memorial hall at Zhunheboto town August 4.
The programme was attended by leaders, elders, Sumi frontal bodies including Sumi Hoho (SH), Sumi Totimi Hoho (STH), Sumi Kukami Hoho (SKH) and SKK.
The function was chaired by platinum jubilee planning board chairman Kitoho Rotokha while Sumi Baptist Church, Zunheboto pastor Dr Daniel Chishi  said the dedicatory prayer.
SKK’s year-long Platinum Jubilee celebration on the theme, “A glorious generation” kick-started January 15 at Imulomi village, where the first Sumi students’ conference was held in 1940.
