The annual freshers’ day function of Fazl Ali College (FAC) was held at the college auditorium with Ao Students Conference (AKM) president Jemtimenba Longchar as special invitee.
Encouraging the freshers, AKM president encouraged the students to adapt and focus their minds and lives with the fast changing world.
He also asked them not to forget the deeds of “our forefathers” and celebrate their far sightedness by looking forward the future with courage and vision. He also asked the congregation to have faith in one’s capacities and capabilities while focus on the future and become an orientated citizen in every aspect.
AKM president further urged all the freshers to learn with a good vision and work with full commitment and dedication to bring laurels to the institution.
Later, in the second session, Kethoseno Angami B.A 1 and Sentichang Imchen B.A1 were adjudged Mr & Miss freshers.
