Zadhima vill plants saplings

Zadhima villagers have planted 2,500 pineapple saplings and 400 orange saplings at Zadhima-11 on July 5 with the help of 11 Assam Rifles.
Zadhima village chairman KT Vilie has expressed gratitude to the 11 Assam Rifles for creating the orchard for both pineapple and orange and for their service to the community to boost the economy of the village.
The community also thanked the ICAR Medziphema for providing the saplings and giving technical advice. The community said the project has been “a true reflection” of the Assam Rifles motto “Friends of the hill people”.
